The darker the night, the brighter the stars!

Founded back in 2019, THEN COMES THE NIGHT from Riedlingen, Southern Germany, incorporates a vivid mixture of Power- and Heavy Metal elements as well as traditional Hard Rock and Rock’n’Roll. Components and structures typical to Musicals thus provides a vast and interesting sound variety. They already caused furor in the scene with their debut album ‘Chapter 1’ which was released digital only in January 2022 and featured Metal greats like Ralf Scheepers (PRIMAL FEAR), Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens (KK’s PRIEST, ex-JUDAS PRIEST) and Tim Kanoa Hansen (INDUCTION).

Their highly anticipated second long player ‘Start The Change’ has been released in October 2023 by their own to stay independent. The guys around songwriter, producer and outstanding singer Selin Schönbeck have tightened the quality screws once again and sharpened the THEN COMES THE NIGHT trademarks. ‘Start The Change’ is a 10-track masterpiece featuring 9 new own tracks and a fantastic cover version of the LETTER X classic smash hit ‘Leather On Leather’. Shortly after the release of the new album the band had to part ways with guitarist Frank Schmitz (formerly LETTER X). They became a trio with the professional female backing vocalist Ela Traub as the icing on the cake.

In 2024, Metalapolis Records, which is also the label for WE ARE LEGEND where THEN COMES THE NIGHT mastermind Selin is singing, decided to offer them a deal and to re-release ‘Start A Change’ on a professional level and with a world-wide distribution by SPV. With the new album THEN COMES THE NIGHT leaves no doubt that the future belongs to them and that we can expect a lot more from them. As already mentioned before, this is just the beginning…
